Soul Collage

My Soul Collage Card journey by Sue Dominey

I work as a Creative Expressive Arts Therapist, and expressing my creativity is part of my self-care, spiritual practice and nourishment for my soul. My neighbour Vera (Claysongs Pottery Findhorn) first introduced me to the practice of creating a Soul Collage card, and I have now made around 10 cards over the last few years, each card is very special and meaningful for me.

I feel it is important to share that: SoulCollage® is an expressive arts practice done individually or in community. Founded by Seena B. Frost (1932-2016) the method develops creativity and intuition, encourages self-discovery, and provides personal guidance.

The Soul Collage card I am sharing here is my latest creation, inspired by the online course HAGITUDE facilitated by Dr Sharon Blackie (She wrote Women Rise Rooted), I am a participant along with several other women, re-imagining the second half of life, Hags with attitude !!!!!!

Once the card is lovingly and mindfully completed, part of the creative and intuitive process is to ‘dialogue’ with the card, here is my dialogue:

Q. Who are you? “ I am Sky Witch at the Quantum Leap Portal, I am the one who will guide you as you make your quantum leap through the portal”

Q. What is your gift of wisdom for me? “Trust and surrender – you have prepared all of your life for this, all of your lived experiences, you are not alone, you are accompanied by all of your female ancestors”

Q. What do you need from me? “Travel light, be fully present, shape shift using all of your powers and intentions, be open minded and open hearted”

Q. Is there anything else you want to share with me?

Remember the way of the peaceful warrior, and remember your Mayan Kin” – I define in order to communicate, measuring breath, I seal the input of spirit, with the self-existing tone of form, I am guided by the power of endlessness.

Q. How will I remember?

“Nature will always remind you – you will not forget”
